Movie Geek: Stage & Screen Highlights

Movie Geek premiered in the 2005 New York Fringe Festival, and featured projections of original film and video directed and edited by Ana Hurka-Robles.

Movie Geek was the recipient of the 2005 Fringe Award for Best Multimedia. All subsequent productions, including runs at The Culture Project and Ars Nova, have included AHR's video work

Brand Management

Brand Management is an eight minute short film, written and directed by Ana Hurka-Robles. It's a "fictional documentary" about the process of rebranding a ordinary, unfamous individual. You can view it here in it's entirety.

Brand Management was recently screened at the K-Dog and Dunebuggy Film Festival in Brooklyn as part of their "Biography" series.

Five Difficult Situations: Excerpt - Chris

Five Difficult Situations is a short film directed by Ana Hurka-Robles. It is composed of five vignettes about people with problems, major and minor, all very serious to those involved. It was written by Sarah K. Burgess shot by Albert Thrower. The cast includes Zoe Lister-Jones, Michael Lluberes, and Lance Rubin.

Five Difficult Situations premiered at the 2008 Crown Point Festival in Manhattan.
